Windproof Buff® offers the best protection against the cold and wind due to its insulating warm air layer between the wearer's skin and the product. POLARTEC® SYSTEM Polartec® Classic 100. Provides warmth without weight. Extremely breathable. Provides the right level of insulation for most outdoor activities. Maintains body temperature and prevents heat loss. THERMOLITE® SYSTEM Thermolite® fabric is capable of providing warmth and comfort with the minimum weight, even when damp or wet. Thermolite is a lightweight cloth that provides functionality because it is made of hollow ADVANSA fibres to trap air and obtain the optimum thermal insulation. Furthermore, users stay drier because Thermolite® fabrics dry 20% faster than cotton. Thermolite® is the perfect fabric for layer protection systems because it is comfortable, lightweight and allows freedom of movement. RETRO-REFLECTIVITY It is the name given to something that has the ability to return a large portion of the light hitting its surface back to its source. The retro-reflectivity materials used on clothing can qualify as being "Visibility Accessories", when they conform to the European Directive 89/686/CE and the recorgnized standards: European Norm UNE-EN 13356-01 and UNE-EN 340-94. The Reflective Buff®, which can be seen approximately 150 metres away from the light source, is qualified as "Visibility Accessory" when at least 6 cm. or 2.4" of the stripes are visible, according to the certification from the Textile Research and Testing Laboratory -LEITAT- from Barcelona (Spain).
